Abstract

Critical analysis of the film Three by using critical discursive analysis (CDA) that besides the notion of monogamy as a social construction also highlights narratives of ageism, childfree relationships, biphobia, normative male (hetero)sexuality, body image and sexuality of pregnant women and the concept of nuclear family (two men, one woman) together with semiotic approach (e.g. the semiotics of cancer and infertility as a death symbol for monogamous relationships).
